THE WEEKLY REVIEW - " Odd but Beautiful "

Sunday, April 5, 2015

Hey there,

Well, I know this is really late. But I was/is sick and never got around to judging. The other part of this is I was stuck! I couldn't decide! So I waited a day to freshen my mind and look at the photos again, and finally here we are. ♥

Last weeks theme picks for "Odd but Beautiful"
Prepare to be amazed & inspired!

To someone, something can be beautiful, and to another that something can be weird and odd and see no beauty in it.  Well, it doesn't matter what 'they' think is beautiful, what do *you* see in that oddity yourself?  Today I am sharing with you beauty that these photographers see, if it be odd to you take a closer look, you can always find beauty in it!

Have a great Easter evening & a great 'end of the week'!

XOXO

I love everything about this image! The pastel colors, airy beachy feel and the soft focus.

This one stopped me in my tracks, I love me a good composite! And the way the light was used brings out the subject. Feels very peaceful.

First off, I adore cactus's!! But that's not only why I chose this one! I love the odd close focus and the depth. ♥

This. Wow. The angle paired with the rich b/w. This is absolutely stunning! Definitely odd but so beautiful!

I am a huge fan of flowers paired with macro! This is so lovely! So soft and I love the purplish tones.

This is a gorgeous OOF shot! Loving the lines & light here!

This one is just stunning! I love how you can see the faint little bokeh hearts! Very mysterious.

Man such a telling image! There is so much detail to take in. The long lashes, the textures and design on the the snails shell.  I love the look in his eye, like he's daydreaming.

I just thought this was so cool!! In love with the openness and how he's not completely centered! You can tell he's in his own little world of child imagination.

And the winner is....

When I came across this photo, I was mesmerized and I still am. My brain can't even decipher this!
Quote from the photographer /
"leaf floating in water taken through thick glass"
Really? On water? It looks like some magic leaf to me flying above water!! ;)
Too odd to even think about! So beautiful.
