Ten things to have before/after your business is launched

A lot of times when we want to start a business you jump right in. I made this exact mistake, so I had to learn the hard way. It needs preparation and thought before starting. Here are ten things I learned that you should do/try before starting. 1. Trust. Everybody knows you need trust in your business, but what kind? Yes, people trusted me but they weren't sure how I did things. I never told them what they would be doing/what I was going to do. Which meant question after question. They weren't sure of how I worked or How I acted. So make sure when they first contact you give a summary and show them you know exactly what you're doing. 2. Communication This is a very important key in a business. Every customer expects you to keep in touch and on top of things. If you have a Facebook page, post regularly or schedule your posts, Facebook as an awesome feature to do so. Update your website or blog weekly let them know you're active. 3. Show your work This is huge step in starting a business. Everyone wants to see what your style is and quality work. Creating samples using pre made products or images will boost your business tremendously. 4. Product Protection People will steal your images or product images to sell as their own. I urge you to put a copyright symbol clear and plain so they will be afraid to take it. 5. Supporting others who are in the same line of business. I'm a logo designer. I follow other logo designers, but not to copy or make fun. I look at their designs as an idea, I'll look at it and envision a totally different logo with the same concept. You will never find me copying, that is one of my utmost enemies. 6. Inspiration Everybody needs some inspiration to even start their business. View other peoples work similar to the style you want to achieve. This will give you a boost before starting. 7. Patience Things take time. Maybe your page doesn't have many 'likes' or interaction. Maybe not many people are contacting you to purchase something. Then you think they don't like what you do. Nobody ever started out being known to a lot of people, not even an actor. Before they started acting they had a dream, they would dream 'would they ever get there' look at them now! Just be patient. Even I don't have many followers right now, but I try not to let it bug me and do whatever I can to get it put there. 8. Practice Practice practice practice! Look up tutorials or blogs and try new things! Trying a lot of things will eventually help you to find your true style! Go for it! 9. Organization Keep thing easy to get to. Digitally and pyhsically. Whatever your business is nothing is more difficult than a mess you have to dig through for hours in case a problem comes up with a client. Nobody likes that!! Make folders and organize! 10. You're ready Of course no one is completely and fully prepared for everything, but these steps will make it easier so you wont make as many mistakes as I did! Its time to show the world your style, and that you have what it takes to do what you love!! -- I hope this is a help to you, all these steps you must always repeat to get better and that goes for me too! Have a great day!! ~Rose P.s let's see those businesses!! Post a link to your page in the comments below.
